The Mechanic XG50 Soldering Paste is a no-fuss solder paste for SMD soldering, BGA reballing and mobile phone motherboard repair. Each 35 gram pack holds a smooth paste that melts at 183°C, so it works well with a hot air gun or rework station when you fit ICs, chips, connectors and small components.
Good paste makes fine-pitch work much easier. The paste form lets you place a small, controlled amount on the pads, and as it heats it flows into a neat, shiny joint that bonds firmly to the board. The 183°C melting point also lets technicians work at a moderate heat, which helps protect nearby components and PCB pads during repair.
The Medium pack size gives a good balance between daily use and easy storage, so it suits repair shops, service centers, technicians and students learning micro soldering. Keep it with flux, a stencil and a tweezer for the best rework results.
